A Powerful Tool for Self-Discovery and Team Building

The ATA Enneagram is a powerful tool for understanding human personality. It is a rigorous update the popular personality model based on a simple yet profound diagram of nine intersecting lines (an “Enneagram”), that represents nine distinct personality types. These personality types, or Ennea-types, are interconnected, and understanding how they relate can significantly improve communication and collaboration at work.

The Personalities at Work program introduces the ATA Enneagram as a way to improve team dynamics and individual performance. We help participants understand their instinctual biases—the fundamental values that drive their behavior—and the nine Ennea-type strategies—the different ways people attempt to fulfill those values. By recognizing both dimensions of the personality—instinctual biases and strategies—employees can gain insight into their own blind spots and strengths, which leads to greater self-awareness and better interactions with others.

Many other Enneagram models focus primarily on the nine strategies (the “ennea”), treating the instinctual biases as secondary. However, the ATA Enneagram takes both elements into account equally, ensuring a more holistic approach to personality development. This comprehensive framework allows us to identify not just the strengths but also the friction points that may arise when individuals with different personality styles work together. Once we identify these areas of potential conflict, we can help teams implement strategies to reduce friction and improve communication.

A Program for Every Level and Need

Personalities at Work is designed to meet the needs of all levels within your organization, ensuring that time constraints are respected while still offering in-depth learning on work personality types. We offer flexible program formats that range from 90-minute sessions to two-day workshops, allowing you to choose the right fit for your team’s schedule.

Personalities@Work On Demand

Our asynchronous video program offers nearly 50 short videos divided into four courses, providing participants with the flexibility to learn at their own pace. This format is especially useful for front-line employees, supervisors, and new managers who are interested in exploring the nine work personality types and instinctual biases. The program includes online assessments and a PDF copy of The Enneagram Guidebook, so participants can begin applying their new knowledge right away.

Personalities@Work

The live and in-person and hybrid versions of Personalities at Work provides an in-depth introduction to the ATA Enneagram for mid- to senior-level managers. This program goes beyond personality typing by focusing on how personalities at work impact communication, collaboration, and growth. Participants will complete our online assessments and engage in one-on-one assessment interviews with ATA’s expert staff, ensuring they have a personalized roadmap for improving their team dynamics.

Executive Personalities@Work

For executive teams, the Executive Personalities at Work program offers a tailored approach that addresses the unique demands of senior leadership. This program includes one-on-one pre-program assessments, a team profile, actionable insights on improving collaboration, and follow-up executive coaching. In addition, participants will have access to OnDemand videos for six months to reinforce their learning.

Industry-Specific Applications: Sports and Entertainment

While the ATA Enneagram Personalities@Work program can be applied to any organization, we have developed specialized versions of the program for both the sports and entertainment industries.

With our strategic partner, Jillian Keaveny, we deliver a specialized program for the front office administrative, management, and coaching staff of athletic organizations. Jillian is a gym-owner, fitness and nutrition consultant, and multisport athlete who brings her passion for the Enneagram to her work in helping athletes reach peak performance.
